Explosion in a mine in China, resulting in 46 deaths

Forty-six people died Monday due to an explosion occurred in a coal mine in central China, local authorities said, quoted by New China.
The explosion, caused by a stock of gunpowder was held the night of Sunday to Monday in a mine in the municipal district Weidong Pingdingshan, Henan Province. The municipality of Pingdingshan, quoted by New China, 72 miners remained trapped after mine blast, but 26 have been removed to safe area. The mines in China have been numerous accidents, despite progress in recent years on security. About 2,600 miners lost their lives last year, according to official statistics.
